Peter and Simon Bowes are "Kings of England":
Kings of England is a performance company I started with my Dad in July 2008. We are currently based in the North West of England.
Simon (29) is a researcher, performance artist and theatre-maker. Peter (74) is retired. Before that he was, amongst other things, an RAF serviceman, draughtsman, and redundancy consultant. Our practice involves a wayward research into theories of time and space, antiquated knowledges and obsolete equipment, storytelling, fictions, and popular song.
Our current show, titled: "Where We Live & What We Live For" is a Nuffield Theatre New Works & BAC Scratch Commission.
This blog is a rehearsal space for ideas, things we note down, a handy little chronology.
